The mountain views were absolutely stunning and created a romantic atmosphere for our escape. We loved being surrounded by beautiful apple trees and enjoying the peacefulness of nature. Additionally, the fact that the hotel is located near a cider farm added a unique touch to our stay. We had a great time sitting on the terrace in the evening, sipping on cider and taking in the breathtaking views.
One downside was the remote location of the hotel. It was a bit inconvenient to have to take the car into town or walk to catch a bus to San Sebastian.

We stayed at Casa Rural Artola Guest House during our road trip and had a fantastic experience. the rooms were recently renovated and very comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised to find that we were given a double room with an ensuite bathroom, even though we had booked a different arrangement. the common kitchen was well-appointed and convenient for preparing our own meals. the location of the guest house was perfect for us, as it was in the countryside overlooking the city, providing a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. We enjoyed taking walks along the country lanes after a long drive. The free parking and free WIFI were a bonus, and the views from the top were absolutely beautiful. 😔.

The setting up in the mountains was absolutely beautiful, with stunning views. The room was clean and spacious. I particularly enjoyed the communal kitchen and dining area, where we were able to make our own breakfast with plenty of food options. being pet-friendly was a big plus for us as we were able to bring our furry friend along. The location was perfect for those who love nature, with apple trees, farmland, and even horses surrounding the property. Plus, the El Camino trail passing in front of the hotel was a definite highlight.
There were a few drawbacks to consider. the check-in time at 6 PM was a bit inconvenient and we were not informed about it until providing our credit card information.

The recently renovated rooms are comfortable and spacious, with clean ensuite bathrooms. The well-appointed communal kitchen is convenient for preparing meals. Limited reception hours made it difficult to reach the staff at times.

I had an amazing stay at this cozy countryside hotel near San Sebastián. The value for money was excellent and the room was comfortable and spacious. The location up in the hills surrounded by apple trees was absolutely stunning, and the views from the deck were breathtaking. The staff, although they only spoke Spanish, were very friendly and even taught us how to pour cider. Highly recommend!
The hotel breakfast menu could use some improvement, especially the preserves served. They seemed to be of the cheaper supermarket range with a lot of sugar and preservatives.
